A Lifelong Commitment to Jewish Life & Leadership
I’ve always believed that the most meaningful way to support Jewish life is to invest in the next generation. That’s why Hunter Hillel has been such an important part of my journey—not just as a board member, but as someone who cares deeply about the future of Jewish leadership and community.
When I first connected with Hunter Hillel, I was struck by the unique energy of the students. Unlike at residential campuses, these students balance rigorous academics, family obligations, and often full-time jobs—all while striving to stay connected to their Jewish identity. They don’t take community for granted. They actively seek it out, and Hunter Hillel provides the space where they can find it.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching students walk through our doors unsure of where they belong, only to leave as confident leaders, ready to shape the Jewish future. I’ve seen them take on internships, advocate for Israel, organize meaningful programs, and create lasting friendships. Hunter Hillel isn’t just an organization—it’s a launchpad for young Jewish leaders.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the way Hunter Hillel adapts to meet students where they are. Whether it’s providing wellness resources, leadership opportunities, or spaces to engage in deep Jewish learning, we ensure that every student feels valued and supported.
Serving on the board has been one of the most fulfilling roles of my life. It has reinforced my belief in the power of Jewish community and the impact of investing in young leaders. The students of Hunter Hillel inspire me every day, and I am honored to play a role in helping them build strong Jewish futures.
To anyone wondering whether their support makes a difference, I can tell you firsthand: it does. The impact of Hunter Hillel extends far beyond the college years—it shapes Jewish life for generations to come.
